Most important

A federal judge on Tuesday began reviewing Texas voter ID rules. The office of U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is involved. Apparently, they want anyone who queues up to a polling place to be able to vote — whether they are a citizen or have just sneaked into the U.S.

Currently, any individual who would want to cash a check, board an airplane or open a bank account is required to possess a photo ID.

If you don’t appear to be at least 27 years of age, you will be asked for a photo ID to purchase a pack of cigarettes.

If you don’t appear to be at least 35 years of age, you will have to present a photo ID before you can walk away with a six-pack of beer.

Which of these is more important — potentially having your vote canceled out by one cast by a voter who is ineligible to vote, or having a cold beer?
