James and Elois Brown of Shady Shores, TX, celebrated their 50 wedding anniversary. They were married October 8, 1964, at First Baptist Church in Argyle, TX.

Amy Dawn Meeker of The Colony, Texas, and Christopher Jason McLain, also of The Colony, were united in marriage on October 26, 2013, at Grand Traditions in Corinth, Texas. Pastor Kendall Bridges of Freedom Life Church presided at the ceremony. A wedding reception was held after the ceremony, at Grand Traditions as well.
