Armada FC unveils new uniforms, shirt sponsors

Nike, Winn-Dixie and Key Auto Company were announced as the new sponsors for the Armada FC during a public unveiling of the team's new uniforms.

Winn-Dixie was named as the primary sponsor, securing the jersey-front logo on the Nike-produced uniforms. Key Auto Company's logo will be featured on the right sleeve of the jersey for three years.

Nike will also be providing all of the Armada FC's equipment and merchandise, including player sideline and fan wear through U.S. distributor WeGotSoccer.com.

Team owner Mark Frisch said the new uniforms will help implement the team's presence on a global scale alongside some of the world's greats like FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, AS Roma and Celtic, who are all playing in Nike apparel.

"When choosing an apparel provider for the Armada FC, I wanted to align my club with a premier brand within the soccer and sporting community," Frisch said. "Nike is a brand that shares my goal of helping grow and build soccer in the U.S. and on the First Coast."
