This paper explores the relationship between hydrogen sulfide (H2S)  and oil and gas production. It provides information on the regulation of H2S, and monitoring studies undertaken to assess H2S concentrations in communities living in close proximity to oil and gas development.  There is also a section on health effects related to H2S, including personal stories from people who believe that they have been affected by exposure to H2S from oil and gas operations.
