Beck’s activism hits big screen

Glenn Beck’s “We Will Not Conform” simulcast will be shown in theaters including the Denton Cinemark on Tuesday night. The program aims to come up with solutions to the Common Core education standards.

Fathom Events and conservative commentator Glenn Beck have teamed up for the live simulcast of We Will Not Conform at 7 p.m. Tuesday at theaters around the country, including the Denton Cinemark 14, 2825 Wind River Lane.

The event is billed as a fully interactive experience to discuss Common Core education standards and public education and to develop strategies in the pursuit of enacting real change in schools. The night includes conversations with Beck and education experts including conservative syndicated columnist Michelle Malkin and minister, activist and WallBuilders founder David Barton.

Tickets are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.fathomevents.com. The event will be presented in more than 650 select movie theaters around the country through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network.

The program will be replayed in select cities at 7:30 p.m. July 29.
