Learn about ghost hunting and try out equipment while exploring the Old Alton Bridge area in the “Beck’s Ghost Hunters” class, which meets at North Lakes Recreation Center, 2001 W. Windsor Drive. Core CPR Solutions, Child Care and Babysitting, a class for ages 10-17, will meet from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 4 at North Lakes Recreation Center, 2001 W. Windsor Drive. Soccer Sparks Academy begins Oct. 10 for ages 4-9 every Friday at Denia Recreation Center, 1001 Parvin St. Ages 4-5 practice from 5 to 5:45 p.m., and ages 6-9 practice from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. The coaches are licensed by the U.S. Soccer Federation, and the class uses advanced “all-ball” training.
