Five members of Achievers Gymnastics have qualified for the USA Gymnastics Level 9/10 regional meet after competing recently in the state competition.
Schyler Jones, Storee Yzaguirre, MacKenzie Packer, Danae Denoyer and Rebecca Lytle earned berths in the regional set for April 11-13 in Allen.
Jones, who attends Calvary, finished fourth on balance beam, 10th in all-around, 12th on uneven bars and 15th on vault in the Level 10 Senior C division.
In the Level 10 Senior B division, Aubrey’s Yzaguirre was seventh on floor exercise and 15th in all-around. Packer, from Lewisville, was 15th on beam and 16th in all-around.
In the Level 9 Senior C division, Denoyer, of Denton, was eighth on floor, 12th on vault, 14th on bars and 15th in all-around. Lytle, of Highland Village, competed in the Level 9 Senior C division and finished 17th on vault, bars, floor and all-around.
