ST. GEORGE, Utah — Eji Kwon and Chaslyn Chrismer fought through difficult conditions Tuesday to give North Texas its two lowest individual scores on the final day of the BYU at Entrada Classic. Kwon and Chrismer finished tied for 35th place after shooting scores of 78 and 79, respectively.
The Entrada at Snow Canyon course kept scores high. No player in the field of 84 was able to break par for the tournament.
Kwon was 6 over par for the third round and Chrismer 7 over. Taylor Kilponen finished in a tie for 48th place after shooting a final round of 86. Laura DeLeonardis shot a third-round 85 while Brooke Bailey finished with a 92.
North Texas finished in 12th place after shooting a third-round score of 328. Minnesota beat BYU by 16 strokes Tuesday to capture the team title by eight shots.
North Texas will be back in action April 4-6 at the SMU Invitational.
