The North Texas men’s golf team will begin play in the three-round Sun Belt Conference tournament today at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at The Shoals in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
UNT enters the tournament with the top team stroke average of 293.28 and has two of the top five individuals in terms of average in the league. Rodolfo Cazaubon ranks second at 72.38 while Carlos Ortiz is fourth at 73.03.
UNT has finished in the top three in five tournaments this season, including a win at the Argent Financial Classic in March.
