North Texas shot a final-round score of 310 on Tuesday and finished fifth at the Islander Spring Classic in Corpus Christi.
Chaslyn Chrismer led the Mean Green with a career-best third-place finish with a two-round score of 5-over 149. Bradley’s Danielle Lemek won the individual title with a 1-over 145. Lamar won the team championship.
North Texas has notched back-to-back top-five finishes as a team for the first time this season. They return to action March 15-16 at the Mountainview Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz.
