so is the US the only safe place in the world? if that were so the whole world would come here and ask for asylum. we know that won’t work. the US is not the best place to seek asylum. coyotes are very expensive, the journey takes days, the dangers, rape, kidnapping, cartel violence, the desert etc., make this direction the worst choice if safety is what you seek. a plane ticket to Ecuador is only about $700 and takes only a day in comfort and best of all no visa needed. these are not refugees but criminal invaders from their first step across the border. every moment hey stay in the US they are committing a crime. every minute they work here they are committing another crime. criminals should not be rewarded

If you know anything about the refugee crisis, you will note that many other countries — besides the US — have been overrun with refugees. This shows you it is a problem endemic to the crime and violence in the area, not “criminal invaders” taking advantage of US.

As Executive director, Stoumbelis has direct knowledge about how CAFTA threatens social programs and the economy of El Salvador. CISPES is a grassroots organization dedicated to supporting the Salvadoran People’s struggle for self-determination and social & economic justice. Since the end of El Salvador’s civil war in 1992, CISPES has worked to oppose free trade and privatization in the Central American Free Trade Agreement or CAFTA.
I have attempted to educate 1bimbo several times on several issues. While I enjoy a good discussion and even an animated debate, I can recognize that arguing with the ignorant -willful in this case – and the uninformed is a total waste of time and energy. For this reason I respectfully suggest to Ana M. Flores Tamayo and other good people who also have tried to enlighten 1bimbo, to not waste their time further. I know I won’t. 1bimbo is aptly described by her name, one she seems as proud of as much as the pride she takes in revealing her incoherent ignorance on this and – I am sure – many other forums. She is no more than the village idiot. I would say she is like the circus clown, except but for the seriousness of the issues to which she so flippantly and maliciously responds.
