CoServ Charitable Foundation recently awarded the Lewisville Senior Activity Center a $10,474 grant to support iPad training for seniors.
The CoServ funding supports Lewisville High School students who serve as instructors at the center. The funding enables purchasing iPads for daily use in the Senior Center library and acquiring new chairs for the center’s classroom.
Lewisville High School senior Carissa Baker was appointed student nody community service leader for the iPad training program. She has assembled a team of 20 LHS seniors to provide iPad instruction at the center.
