Veterans Day celebration planned at high school for Nov. 9

Flower Mound will celebrate Veterans Day from 1 to 3 p.m. on Nov. 9 at Flower Mound High School, 3411 Peters Colony Road.

The Summit Club will provide free hot dogs, cake and lemonade for a family picnic from 1 to 2 p.m.

During a Veterans Review, nearly 200 local JROTC members, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts parade in uniform. JROTC units and Scout groups can enter the review by calling 972-874-6276. Visit flower-mound.com/cac for more information.
