David Julius Robertson, 75, of Aubrey, died on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Denton Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Robertson was born on March 12, 1939, in Newark, NJ, to David Anthony and Margaret Ann (Demeter) Robertson. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged on June 7, 1963. He was married to Paula Verver on January 1, 1962, in Amarillo, TX. He worked for many years as an aircraft fueler for Eastern Airlines and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

David is survived by his wife, Paula Robertson of Aubrey; daughter, Diana Edens of Houston; sons, David F. Robertson and his wife Sandy of Aubrey, and Michael Robertson and his wife Beth of Weatherford; sister, Patricia Flanagan of Highlands, NJ; brother, Tom Robertson of San Antonio; and grandson, David E. Robertson of Aubrey. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Ann Merlo.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton, TX, with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 31, 2014, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 400 St. Thomas Aquinas Ave., Pilot Point, TX. Interment will follow at 1:15 P.M. at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
