Norma Lea Case

Norma Lea Case, 80, of Denton, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014, at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 20, 1934, in Independence, Kansas, to the late Herbert and Orpha Loewen Reimer. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church inDenton.

Norma's parents were missionaries and their calling took them to Mexico. The family resided in Harlingen, TX, where Norma met her first husband, the late Forrest Robert "Bob" Leamon. After 23 years of marriage, Norma became an independent woman. She was employed as an executive assistant for many years at Herman Blum Consulting Engineers and retired from GTE.

After retiring, she married William "Bill" J. Case of Henderson, NY, and they resided together in Henderson for 9 years. Upon Bill's death, Norma moved to Denton, TX, to be near her son, daughter, and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Norma was preceded in death by brother, Howard Reimer, and sisters, Stella Weldon and Evelyn Papayanopolus.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Sue Leamon, Denton; son and daughter-in-law Charles Glenn Leamon and Gresha, Argyle, TX; grandchildren: Chrystal Stevens and husband Tim, Rockwall, TX; Derek Leamon, Argyle; Corey Ann Leamon, Brooklyn, NY; Erin Leamon, Argyle; three sisters: Jane Evans, Ringgold, GA; Mary Walker, Murfreesboro,TN; and Edith Alvidrez of Garden Grove, CA.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
