Services were held Monday, October 27, 2014, in Keefeton, Oklahoma, for Amanda Gayle Sparks, 36, of Muskogee, Oklahoma. Amanda passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014. She was born February 23, 1978, in Denton, Texas, to Daniel "Dan" Waldon Sparks and Debora Lea Eckhoff Sparks. Amanda attended public schools and graduated from Wagoner High School, class of 1996. She also attended Indian Capital Technology Center where she obtained CNA and Medical Assistant certificates. Amanda worked in the health care field as a medical assistant.
Amanda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her children. She loved fixing her girls' hair and nails and watching her son play golf and basketball. Amanda will be remembered for her talents of drawing, telling jokes, and making people laugh. Her upbeat, cheerful personality was a blessing to all who knew her. Amanda was loved by many and will truly be missed.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her uncle, Don Sparks.
Amanda is survived by her spouse, Joe Goodson; her children, Jakob Nehf, Brianna Sparks, Maleah Sparks, Jonathan Goodson, Caitlin Goodson, Beth Rosson, and Matthew King; her parents, Dan and Debbie Sparks; her sister, Andrea Sparks; and a host of other extended family and friends.
