Toucher & Rich: Can People On The Street Name 5 Current Celtics Players?

BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Celtics open the regular season Wednesday night against Brooklyn and there’s not a lot of buzz surrounding this team right now, which 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Rich Shertenlieb can’t seem to understand why.

Sure, the C’s are coming off a year with just 25 wins and won’t be contending for a title anytime soon, but there’s a lot of good storylines to follow if you’re a basketball fan.

Rich is particularly interested in the development of Marcus Smart and Jared Sullinger, as well as what will happen with Rajon Rondo.

On Wednesday morning, Toucher & Rich played some audio of a social experiment they conducted on the streets of Boston. They sent Adolfo out to the TD Garden to interview fans following a Bruins game to see if they know anybody on this Celtics team.

If you’re attending a Bruins game then you’re most likely a fan of Boston sports, so they felt like it would be a good measure to calculate the interest in this Celtics team.
