Crews to make bridge repairs to the KCS train bridge

All lanes of U.S. Highway 380, west of Interstate 35, will be closed overnight on Saturday and Sunday for bridge repairs to the Kansas City Southern Railway train bridge.

U.S. 380 between Marshall and Mesa roads will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. both days, according to a news released issued by the Texas Department of Transportation.

Westbound U.S. 380 traffic will be routed south on the Interstate 35 frontage road, west on Jim Christal Road, north on Western Boulevard and then back to westbound U.S. 380 during the closures.

Eastbound U.S. 380 traffic will be routed south on Western Boulevard, east on Jim Christal Road, north on the I-35 frontage road, and then back to eastbound U.S. 380, according to the release.

Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use an alternate route if possible, officials said.
