In
January 2014, our club celebrated 39 years of square dancing, all with
the same caller. We dance
on the First and Third Fridays at the Denton Senior Center, 509 North
Bell Avenue, Denton, Texas. Our Caller, who is also our Cuer, is
the multi-talented Toby Thomason. At the first Friday dance, we
have thirty minutes of Early Rounds which start at 7:00 pm. At the
third Friday dance, we have thirty minutes of a square dance Workshop
which starts at 7:00 pm. We always have a full dinner cooked
by our members who are the best cooks in all of Texas, which is served
at 7:30 pm, and the Grand March is at 8:00 pm. We dance
Mainstream, Easy Rounds and Plus.
