EPR - Texas

Welcome back to all of our current members, and welcome to UNT to all of our incoming freshman! Our UNT EPR meeting schedules for the Fall 2014 semester has been posted! We are honored that you are taking part of the larger student recovery community at the University of North Texas. Please take a look at our offerings and special events for this fall, and join us when you can!

Take a moment to watch our short documentary highlighting our members at the university of North Texas that are living in or supporting long-term recovery. Watch on as they detail their struggles and triumphs over the disease of addiction. Students and faculty also describe what they would like to see out of an official collegiate recovery program at the university.

Our Mission

Eagle Peer Recovery has been established at the University of North Texas for one simple purpose: To provide an environment of education and accountability for substance use disorders, mental health illness, and long-term recovery. Through multi-faceted recovery meetings (12-step, HBE, SMART Recovery, PESN) and peer support services, EPR aims to create a safe-haven for students either in or seeking active recovery.

  • Eagle Peer Recovery is unbiased in its membership policy - anyone who has a desire to learn, be in, or support long-term collegiate recovery is welcome.
  • We welcome the support and wisdom the voice of our family, friends and supporters bring to the conversation in our efforts to shape public policy.
