7 a.m. to sellout — Denton County Farmers Market at Sycamore Street and Carroll Boulevard, in the parking lot by the Denton County Historical Park. Visit www.dentonfarmersmarket.com .

8 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Denton County Antique Tractor, Farm Equipment and Primitives Club fall meeting and picnic at 640 E. Jernigan Road in Copper Canyon. The public is invited to see old tractors and antique farm equipment. Scholarship auction starts at 1 p.m. The picnic, free to all members and visitors, includes fried chicken, tea and drinks. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Dog Days of Denton at the North Texas Fairgrounds, 2217 N. Carroll Blvd. Event for friendly dogs (on leashes and with current vaccinations) and people includes contests, demonstrations, live entertainment, rescue groups, agility course, “Glamfur” photos, vendors, food and more. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. — Creative Women’s Conference, celebrating and promoting women in their creative endeavors, at North Branch Library, 3020 N. Noon — Third annual GreenFest on the Greenbelt, at the Lake Ray Roberts Greenbelt Park on FM455 below Ray Roberts Lake Dam. Event includes equestrian exhibitions, outdoor activities and demonstrations, Backyard Bass competition, children’s activities, food vendors, and live music including Brave Combo at 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Greenbelt Alliance of Denton County. Advance tickets cost $5 each at www.friendsofthegreenbelt.org, or $7 per person at the gate. Free for children younger than 6. Pets on leashes are permitted. In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Isle du Bois Unit of Ray Roberts Lake State Park, in the paved parking area by the beach.
