Dallas Newspaper Picks the Wrong Week for its "Taste of Africa Comes to Dallas!" Cover

DallasWeeklyEbolaCover.jpg
Dallas Weekly, one of the city's main black-owned newspapers, just published its latest issue online. The issue date suggests the cover was designed pre-ebola, but the timing of the email blast they just put out is ... unfortunate.

Black owned newspapers - I wonder if they would be as supportive of a White owned newspaper?

If eating and/or having sex with monkeys is wrong then I don't want to be right.

Shit like that is why fiction writers are on welfare. Reality pounds fiction into the dirt.

@Wastrel @Saad He means Western Sahara, which was taken over by Morocco after Spain decolonized the territory in 1975.  In the Dallas Weekly's map, Western Sahara is identified as being a separate country with the flag of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.

I also can't help but note that the Dallas Weekly apparently hasn't heard that Libya had a revolution a couple of years ago.  Ghaddafi's all-green banner isn't much in vogue in Tripoli anymore.
