PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — One lucky Eagles fan will get a chance to attempt a 40-yard field goal for $20,000 during halftime of the Titans at Eagles game on November 23rd, thanks to Santander.
What:
More than 60 Philadelphia Eagles fans will have the rare opportunity to step onto the turf in the Field House at the NovaCare Complex, the Eagles training facility, for Santander Bank, N.A.’s “$20,000 Field Goal Challenge” Try Outs. Those fans will attempt field goals from increasing distances until one finalist remains.
The amateur kickers will vie for a football fan’s dream prize: in addition to bragging rights for life, the lucky finalist will win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attempt a 40-yard field goal at halftime of the Eagles game against Tennessee on November 23, 2014 at Lincoln Financial Field. Should the finalist make the field goal, he or she will win $20,000 from Santander.
The participants won the right to take part in the “Field Goal Challenge” Try Outs by correctly answering a daily trivia question about Eagles alumni as part of Santander’s eight-week online contest this fall in partnership with the NFL team. Santander is the Official Bank of the Philadelphia Eagles.
