I have to give a huge shout out to my Gator family! You all have been amazing from donations, groceries, babysitting and being there for us in such a trying time. My heart is so incredibly thankful to you all!
Please share our story. Please donate if it is within your means. Im having the baby in two weeks and I need diapers, wipes, diaper cream, pads, nipple cream, baby wash, baby detergent. Basically I still need everything. We are still waiting for Andrei to return to work. I know this is not your burden, but our countries government did not care about my needs or the needs of my children. Please help me. Im still waiting to see if I will get approved for welfare, since I have no income. This whole ordeal has really rocked me at my core and taken away all of our stability/ security.
Its bitter sweet to sell our belongings, sad to sell them, but every little bit helps. Please donate, please share our story.
Andrei has officially been deported. It is better than him rotting away in a prison unjustly. We still need your help, it will be 3-4 weeks before Andrei can return to work and receive a paycheck to help our family out. 3 weeks until the baby will be here. A huge thank you to Anthony Kempski his donation helped buy Bella a new carseat something she has needed for the past couple months. Things are starting to look up. Garage sales for tomorrow and Saturday, pray for a good turn out. Bills keep on coming. Thank you to everyone who has supported my family in the best ways they could, it means alot.
Please donate because as of right now the kids and I are not going to make it for me to have the baby in 3 weeks. Please help us.
We had our second garage sale, a total of $100. A few more sales and maybe I'll be able to pay the light bill. If any one is needing electronics message me, ill be selling them soon. Please share our story, We need your help. If you can donate it will help keep the roof over our heads and the lights on. Thank you.
We went and saw Andrei today. I put the phone to my stomach so Andrei could speak to the baby, and Catalaya kicked the phone where the sound came from. It was so sweet. Please donate and share our story. We need your help and mercy. It is such a tragedy that our government has forced us to such dire conditions. Please help us.
Well they hAve moved the csection a week earlier. Im looking at a mini Leo. I managed to sell a whopping $25 in our belongings. Its going to be a long few weeks. Thanks to all the people who have donated in the past couple days, you have helped dry my tears. Please share our story and please donate. My children and I need you.
Please if you can find it in your hearts please donate. Im trying to sell off all of our belongings but that is not going well. I need your help to keep a roof over our heads just long enough to have this baby. I promise im not being greedy but we really need your help. All the stress and worry is so heartbreaking for me during this time.
My children just had to say goodbye to their first dog. Bella is absolutely heart broken. I feel powerless in moments like this.
We have court on the 15th. I really dont know what to expect. I miss my husband so much. I have started the painful process of putting our belongings for sake. I hope the children take it well. Please family and friends no donation is to small. Please share our story.
Please donate and share our story.
With an attorney that keeps trying to bail on us at every corner and no money for a new attorney, it is pretty dismal. Money is running it out , and things feel hopeless. The Texas Observer did pick up our story, so that is a positive. We need you because everything is being taken away from us from our government and Immigration system.
Today didnt feel like the 4th. There was not freedom for my love, no celebration for him. Most of these men have had made America their homes and today they were forgotten by the system. Our hearts are heavy. The children asked I'd Daddy is coming home soon. We hope you all had a joyous holiday, love the Dragan Family.
I wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. I have been able to pay some bills and go grocery shopping today because of all your generosity. My second round of diabetes testing came back negative, hallelujah. My mother is extremely awesome, she helps me so much and has been such a rock for me. Please if its not too much trouble please share our story, we still need your help. Thanks!
Andrei was officially denied parole through Immigration and the kids and I officially lost our health insurance today. Its getting harder and harder to hold on. Thanks to all the people who continue to help and our support my family. You all are the sunshine in the rain.
Thank you to Josh Brown for sending over the pizza, the kids really enjoyed it! :-)
They say its not a prison, well it looks like one to me.
Not only is the immigration system forcing 4 American Citizens to leaveour country, but they are taking away a mother's daughter, and her 3 grand children. We visited Andrei today, it gets harder and harder to walk out the door without him. Please share our story, because we deserve freedom too! We deserve the pursuit of happiness too! Please donate, please share our story.
Today I cant get my body to move, confined to the bed. I woke up screaming in pain just merely trying to move in bed. I need my husband. Please share our story, free Andrei Dragan for I fear Ill lose the ability to walk at all soon.
Praying as a family so hard that my husband gets to come home. It is like going through life with a piece of my heart ripped out. Please send prayers for Andrei's release. Free Andrei Dragan!
Today Ashley, a wife of one of Andrei's colleagues dropped off groceries and helped with things around the house. The kindness she and her husband has shown us has absolutely moved me and helps keep my faith. Thanks to all the people who have donated and continue to share our story, you all are the saving grace to my family. GOD bless you all!
All this support is giving us the means to keep fighting for Andrei's freedom. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
I spoke to Andrei today and his heart is just extremely touched by all the support. Currently where he is being detained, a bunch of men who had the same LPR status as my husband have gone on hunger strike since Father's Day. Our immigration system is ripping families apart, and it is tragic. For all the daddies detained, my heart goes out. He personally thanks everyone, and he loves the gator family.
The generosity we are receiving is amazing! Life has been so dark and devastating and this definitely adds some light. Thank you so much and I cant wait to tell Andrei about all your support!
I am here to ask for your help because my family is in dire need! Immigration has detained my husband, and is forcing my two children, and myself who is 7 1/2 months in a high risk pregnancy to be homeless and possibly being forced to leave the country even though my children and myself are all American citizens.
At every corner I am getting told that my children and myself are not valid, by immigration, ICE, and the San Antonio Customs and Border Patrol.
My husband has been in the United States legally for 17 1/2 of his 29 years, he is an American. While we were applying for his citizenship, his Legal Permanent Residence (LPR) expired, and the San Antonio CBP told him not to worry, that there would be no point to give him another LPR since he would have his citizenship. When his citizenship was denied they went straight to detaining him. They got him on a technicality. From this process I have learned that the immigration process does not give immigrants legal rights, even though they are tax payers, and they are not held accountable for their actions. They denied him legal council because it is up to their discretion.
My husband and I are not perfect, and my husband did get in trouble 4 1/2 years ago. It is that trouble that they are using to keep him detained. With immigrants there is no statue of limitation to keep from being persecuted by the immigration system. Since September 2009, my husband has devoted his time to turn his life around and provide and honest living for our family. He received his GED, completed all of the rehabilitation programs, and was released from probation 2 years early. He has had his job and career for three years and is the shining example of rehabilitation. He held the title of Senior Linux Admin, and was currently in training to be a Linux 3 admin. Since 2009 he has not been in any trouble besides a seat belt ticket. To explain this situation, I think this qoute sums it up the best,
" Everyone makes mistakes in life, but that doesn't mean they have to pay for them for the rest of their life. Sometimes good people make bad choices. It doesn't mean they are bad. It means they are human." unknown author
Andrei, my husband is not a danger to society, not a danger to national security and not a flight risk and yet they refuse to release him. I am in high risk of euterine rupture in my last term that I am currently in, as well as have gastrites, gastroparesis, as well as Pelvic SI problems that make walking extremely painful. As you can see I can't work even if I wanted to. I have set up this Go Fund Me page to cover 3 months of bills, attorney fees, and health care long enough for me to have our daughter. At that point I will be forced to leave the only country I have known because of the way our immigration system is set up. Andrei is the type of man who woke up every day at 6 am to go to work, where he thrived for three years. He has never missed a birthday or a holiday, and his absense is deeply missed by our children and myself. Isaiah just turned 7, and his birthday was spent in a correction facility because that was the only way he could see his daddy for his birthday. Isabella is 2 and everyday says, "I miss daddy." Now I am being forced to have this baby alone without my husband, while selling all of our stuff off and it is DEVASTATING!
Please help us. Check out my face book page, Angela Maria Dragan, you will see that my husband has been a dutiful spouse and father for years. We need your mercy because our government is forcing us to be homeless, hungry, and under extreme distress. This is supposed to be the land of the Free! Please help our family. I believe in prayers and we are always in need of those. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and I hope you find it in your hearts to help us, complete strangers but in dire need of your help.
