State Sen. Leticia Van de Putte, Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor, will return to Denton at 12:30 p.m. today for an early voting public rally on the southeast side of the Courthouse on the Square lawn.
The rally is coordinated by the Denton County Democratic Party in concert with Van de Putte’s campaign.
Van de Putte and a host of local Democratic candidates will speak from the flatbed of an American-made pickup, which will also serve as the stage, according to organizers.
