Denton County Democrats will come together from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday for Donkey Fest, the party’s annual fall fundraiser, at the North Texas Fairgrounds at 2217 N. Carroll Blvd. in Denton.

Suggested donations for attendees will be $25 per adult and $5 for children.

He faces Republican George P. Bush in the general election in November.

Denton County’s local Democratic candidates also will speak at the event.

They include: Patrick McGehearty for U.S. Congress in District 24; Daniel Moran, candidate for House District 63; Emy Lyons for House District 64; Alex Mendoza, candidate for House District 65; Lisa Osterholt in House District 106; and David Heiman, candidate for judge in the 367th District Court.
