Reggie Fowler, a part-owner in the Minnesota Vikings who made an unsuccessful bid to buy the team outright in 2005, no longer has a stake in the team.

The Star Tribune reports that the Arizona businessman's name has been removed from a list of the team's ownership group on the team's website and that team officials confirmed the change.

Fowler made news in 2005 when he seemed to have a deal to buy the team from former owner Red McCombs, but the deal fell apart because he didn't have enough capital. The Wilfs wound up as majority owners.
