According to reports, the 31-year-old woman reported that her 34-year-old husband pushed her over a couch, causing her to injure her leg. She told police she was able to get away from her husband and go to a neighbor’s house where she called for help.

After speaking with the husband, police learned that an assault had taken place, reports state.

He was charged with assault family violence and taken to the city jail, according to police reports.
