Craddick was elected in November 2012 to serve a six-year term as railroad commissioner. She previously served as the chief political and legal adviser to former House Speaker Tom Craddick, her father, from 2002 to 2011. A Midland native, she is an attorney who specializes in oil and gas, water, tax issues, electric deregulation and environmental policy.
