As a new school year starts, one thing many, if not all, college students wonder is what to do when they have some down time. Grab your friends and have some fun together this week.
Tuesday, Aug. 26 – 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Scrap is offering lessons on how to make your own reusable pinhole camera. The class only costs $12, and it includes the cost of the materials used to make the camera. Scrap is located at 215 W. Oak St.
Wednesday, Aug. 27 – 1-5 p.m.
The Greater Denton Arts Council has an exhibit called “American Brides.” This exhibit shows rare wedding dresses, some more than 100 years old. The exhibit is free. Greater Denton Arts Council is located at 400 E. Hickory St.
Thursday, Aug. 28 – 7-8:30 p.m.
Unicorn Lake is hosting the end of their free Unicorn Lake Summer Concert Series by the fountain. Bring a chair to sit in while you listen to the rock band, 11:40.
Saturday, Aug. 30 – 7-9 p.m.
DentonRadio.com Summer Concert Series at the Golden Triangle Mall comes to a close. Sit out in front of the food court and listen to free music by The Holophonics.
