HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO610.COM) - Houston Dynamo goal keepers Tally Hall has been traded to the expansion Olrando FC for the 2015 season. MLSSoccer.com first reported that the Dynamo and Orlando had agreed to the trade before Hall got injured, but continued their interest as the six year veteran rehabbed a torn ACL.
“I came to Houston six years ago as an unknown, and Houston’s where I was given a chance to make a name for myself,” Hall told MLSsoccer.com. “Now I leave Houston humbled by support and love from the organization and fans as a whole. I leave with a heavy heart, but at the same time I’m very much looking forward to what Orlando has with the opportunity to be with a team for their inaugural season is extremely exciting for me. And I can’t wait to get ingrained with the community and organization and start winning games for Orlando.”
Hall carried the Dynamo in goal to two MLS Cup appearances and three straight Eastern Conference finals. The move will free up Tyler Deric to start for the Dynamo in 2015. After taking over for Hall, Deric had a goals per game average of 1.3 in nine starts.
The Dynamo will receive allocation money in return for Hall. The deal will not be completed until the trade window opens on December 8th.
