Republicans stand a good chance of winning control of the Senate in Tuesday’s midterm elections, giving them full control of Congress.

Leaders say job creation will be their number one priority. But what else will they push for, on issues such as government spending, fighting ISIS and containing Ebola? And how will they govern with the threat of a presidential veto hanging over all of their legislation?

Wyoming Senator John Barrasso, who is chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee, joins Here & Now‘s Jeremy Hobson to discuss Republicans’ policy priorities. He says a Republican-controlled Senate is “the only way” to end gridlock in Washington.
