The Federal Trade Commission is suing AT&T, arguing that the telecom giant misled customers over so-called “unlimited data” plans. AT&T allegedly promised millions of smart phone customers unlimited data, but then cut internet speeds for customers who were using too much data — in some cases, by as much as 90 percent. But AT&T says it did not mislead customers. Jordan Weissmann of Slate joins Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson with details.
