Hearings Division

The Hearings Division is responsible for scheduling, conducting, and preparing recommendations on hearings concerning oil and gas, gas utilities, pipeline safety, alternative fuels safety, and surface mining matters within the Commission's jurisdiction. There are currently eight attorney examiners and five technical examiners. The division also assists the Office of the Attorney General on appeals of Commission orders and provides support to the Oil and Gas Division and the Commission on miscellaneous complaints and legal issues unrelated to hearings.
