Apple Announces 27-Inch iMac With Retina 5K Display

During today’s media event, Apple announced today that the resolution standards on the market are not up to par with where they are going. This will have a dramatic impact on the web and interactive market by creating canvas with virtually unlimited space fill with images and content.

What does this mean for you?

• Your 16 pt title font on your website is now too small to read.
• Your video that was shot in HD now looks like it was shot with an iPhone 3Gs.
• If your site is not responsive then it will look like it was designed for a 800×600 resolution monitor by today’s standards.
• Plan on waiting for Netflix to catch up.
