Entry-Level Web Developer

(1+ years experience)

Summary of Position:
We’re seeking an Entry-Level Developer with 1–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day development tasks
  • Client support
  • HTML/CSS

Gotta Have:

  • 1+ year(s) of professional web development experience
  • Understanding of web development life-cycle
  • Ability to hand code HTML and CSS
  • Experience with building sites from scratch
  • General understanding of web development processes and tools

Creative

Mid-Level Designer


(3-5 years experience)

Summary of Position:
We’re seeking a Mid-Level Designer with 3–5 years of experience. You would be responsible for executing design projects from concept through final production and implementation. The Mid-Level Designer will work on the visual and and some written aspects of advertising, websites and branding. The Mid-Level Designer manages and develops concepts and creative designs to present to clients. Projects may utilize or be presented in the final format of print, video, web and/or photography.

Our new team member would need to:

  • Have experience with digital and print projects
  • Be passionate about design and current trends
  • Enjoy working in and developing a collaborative environment

Responsibilities:

  • Be a part of creative sessions for projects
  • Work as a team with fellow designers, developers, clients, and vendors
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion
  • Develop concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance our brand strategy
  • Establish creative direction for the entire line of online services and programs
  • Generate multiple concepts for a campaign or project
  • Work with the account team, strategy team, and copywriters to develop concepts
  • Work with internal teams to generate ideas for pitching and proposals
  • Recommend and implement ways to increase productivity, professionalism and service within the office.
  • Assist with organization of job files, artwork and photography.

Required Skills:

  • Undergraduate degree in related field or equivalent visual design and management experience required; or at least 3 years experience as a designer
  • In-depth knowledge of design tools in the Adobe Suite
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Photography skills a plus
  • Have clean modern design principles, based on a knowledge of layout, graphic fundamentals, refined typography & the limitations of print & web
  • Production skills for both print and online are necessary.
  • A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, interactive commerce and creative process
  • Print and web design capabilities: must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns
  • Be detail oriented in all aspects of a job
  • Have a good command of writing and grammar
  • Creativity and strong conceptual problem solving a must
  • Ability to storyboard or translate ideas provided
  • Ability to generate, share and follow-through on creative ideas.
  • Ability to work well with other staff, vendors and clients in a collaborative and professional environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal to no supervision.
  • Ability to utilize all hardware, software and peripheral elements of a desktop computer workstation for a minimum of eight (8) hours, daily, for five (5) days in a row (a standard workweek).
  • Ability to develop professionally with regards to being aware and learning new design software, understanding industry trends, etc.

Volunteer Cookie Baker

(1-3 years experience)

Summary of Position:
This is an unpaid position. Cookie Baker should be a master of all forms of crumbly deliciousness, including, but not limited to oatmeal-raisin, sugar, and chocolate chip.
