Obama and the baby-killers

I had thought that the dazzling vulgarity of B. H. Obama, his appointees, and their unremitting hatred for Israel and the Jewish people could no longer shock my soul. Sadly I was wrong. A three-month-old American citizen was murdered in her stroller in Jerusalem last week.  Other then the usual weasel words of condolence from the State Department, nothing has happened to prevent further murders. Nothing.

 From the jpost.com we read:

Three-month-old Chaya Zissel Braun, the baby girl killed today in Jerusalem during a vehicular terrorist attack, was an American citizen, a US official confirmed to The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday night.

The girl was thrown from her stroller as a car swerved into the Ammunition Hill light rail station, injuring seven others.

His grandaughter flew 10-20 meters in the air before landing headfirst on the pavement, Shimshon Halperin [the baby’s grandfather] said Wednesday night.

Standing outside Hadassah University Medical Center on Jerusalem’s Mount Scopus, after Chaya had died of intracranial bleeding Halperin explained how the driver from Silwan rammed a row of pedestrians, hitting Chaya’s stroller and sending her flying.

He then went on to describe the last hours of her short life.

“They had just returned from the Kotel [Western Wall]. It was the first time in her life that the girl was at the Kotel. They [her parents] took pictures, they held her up to face the Temple Mount, and they told her this is the holy place, this is the Temple Mount,” said Halperin, an Israeli who has lived for the last 40 years in the US.

Chaya had been born after her parents had tried for years to have a baby to no avail, said Halperin, adding that her parents were in shock, having just learned of her death.

He linked the killing to “the Arabs’ merciless hatred of thousands of years,” saying that they killed “a pure girl with a holy soul, who never did anything bad to anyone in her life and was murdered for no reason.”

Hundreds of people attended the baby's funeral in Jerusalem at midnight on Wednesday, including President Reuven Rivlin and Mayor of Jerusalem Nir Barkat.

The suspected perpetrator has alleged ties to Hamas, [Hamas was responsible, see this link] officials say.

"The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms today’s terrorist attack in Jerusalem," State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in an evening statement. "We express our deepest condolences to the family of the baby, reportedly an American citizen [she was an American citizen], who was killed in this despicable attack, and extend our prayers for a full recovery to those injured. We urge all sides to maintain calm and avoid escalating tensions in the wake of this incident."

Maintain calm and avoid escalation? What utter rubbish!

If we “maintain calm,” whose baby, whose son, whose husband, whose wife will be murdered next?

A rational US Administration would exact a disproportionately heavy price for this murder of this American citizen. But that's not going to happen, is it? Not with B.H. Obama’s dazzling vulgarity; of having to keep his tee times while polishing his executive amnesty press release, for after the election.

Does any sane, rational person believe the Hamas, Hezb’allah, ISIS, Iran and the PA have not internalized the lesson that an American citizen can be killed with total impunity?

From france24.com, we read:

Qatar has promised the largest aid package among donors gathered in Cairo to raise funds for reconstruction in the Gaza Strip, which was left devastated following this summer’s 50-day war between Israel and Hamas

“The state of Qatar announces its participation with an amount of $1 billion for the reconstruction of Gaza,” Qatari Foreign Minister Khaled al-Attiya told a conference in the Egyptian capital, attended by representatives from dozens of countries and international organisations.

The $4 billion in aid sought from participants was exceeded as intended donations totalled $5.4 billion, Norway's foreign minister said Sunday evening. European Union member states have made a combined pledge for €450 million ($570 million) and US Secretary of State John Kerry announced $212 million in new aid from the United States. [Emphasis added] Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait promised $200 million each. [Italics added]

In September, the US [also] announced $118 million in humanitarian assistance for Gaza, and Saudi Arabia has also pledged funds.

So, in the past two months our J.F. Kerry and B.H. Obama have pledged a third of a billion dollars of our taxpayer’s dollars to support Gaza and Hamas.  And has any member of Congress come out publicly demanding the withdrawal of the funding for these lavish pledges? Democrat or Republican? Jew or Christian? To paraphrase Edmund Burke, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that the good men and women in Congress continue to fund these pledges.”

Fortunately, the Palestinian Authority, whose reputation for honesty and financial transparency rivals those of the Chicago mobsters of the 1920’s, will distribute the $5.4 billion in pledged funds.  We can rest easy, confident not a single dollar of international aid to Gaza and Hamas will be used to dig tunnels, purchase weapons, build rockets, and fund international terrorism around the world.   ;(

From the concordmonitor.com. Try not to laugh as you read the third paragraph.

Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid bin Mohammed al-Attiyah, in announcing his country’s pledge, denounced the “international silence” that surrounded Gaza’s destruction.

Donors plan to funnel the aid through Abbas’s Palestinian Authority, and bypass Hamas. Abbas and Hamas recently formed a national unity government which held its first Cabinet meeting in Gaza last week.

“The (Palestinian) government will carry out the reconstruction plan with full responsibility and transparency in coordination with the U.N., the donors, international financial institutions, civil society and the private sector,” he said.

Can any American look at B.H. Obama or J.F. Kerry and not feel soiled and debased by their dazzling vulgarity?

Most of us will vote in mid-term elections next Tuesday. Before you enter your polling place, take a moment and look up into the heavens and say a short prayer for the soul of Chaya Braun. She was an American citizen, just like you and I. She deserved a rich full life, surrounded in her old age by her children and grandchildren.

How should we repay those who continue to fund her killers? Vote them the hell out of office.
