POLLOCK, Cecil Cecil Pollock was born January 31, 1927 and passed away October 24, 2014. Cecil served in the US Army during WWII and served in Japan after the war ended. His step grandson, Brent Murray is now serving in the Army Reserves. Cecil was preceded in death by his wife Teresa Yvonne Marshall Pollock and son Gregory Allan Pollock. He is survived by wife Joyce Lorene Pollock; 2 daughters Caroline Sue and Gina Holmes; 1 daughter-in-law Coby Pollock; and 3 step children Diana Murray, Gary Murray and Randy Murray (their families are listed together): Caroline Sue: granddaughter Tara and great grandson Hollis. Gina and husband, John Holmes: daughter Jennifer; granddaughter Cecily and husband Aaron Jackson; grandson Ben Holmes; great granddaughter Isabella; great grandson Andrew; grandsons Keith and David. Greg's Children: John Anderson, Amanda Pollock, Timothy Pollock, Taylor Pollock, Alexandra Pollock, Analicia Pollock, and Baileigh Forbes. 3 step children: Diana Murray, Gary and Sharon Murray with 2 children Bethany and Michael, 3 great grandchildren Nikoa, Makayla and Kylie; Randy and Betty Murray with 2 children Brent and Chrystal and husband David. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Texas Southern Gospel School of Music: TSGSM, Paul Hollingsworth, Treasurer, 1515 Hackberry, Clifton, TX 76634. The Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday October 29, 2014 at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Cedar Hill Chapel.
