Grant extended to program that increases diversity in physical therapy

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board will recognize Jean Keller, professor of kinsiology, health promotion and recreation studies, for leading the partnership that helps African American and Hispanic males complete physical therapy degrees.

Anita Eugster, retired student services specialist

She had retired in September after working at UNT for more than 10 years.

Vern Kagarice, professor of trombone

He had conducted the award-winning UNT Trombone Choir since 1983.

John Haynie, Professor Emeritus of music

He taught trumpet at UNT for 40 years. He was known for his solos, and he taught some of the college's most successful music graduates.
