A local hotel owner and management firm with several Central Florida properties plans to expand its International Drive-area headquarters and add new jobs.

Orlando leaders are slated to vote at the Nov. 3 city council meeting on incentives that could convince Orlando-based Club Trust LLC, parent company of staySky Vacation Club, to spend upward of $2.15 million to expand its offices at 7011 Grand National Drive, Suite 104, and create 88 new jobs. The company currently employs 108 workers.

City documents state the company plans to spend upward of $35 million in its properties, which include the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa, Enclave Suites, Hawthorn Suites Lake Buena Vista and the staySky Suites I-Drive Orlando.

The average salary for the new jobs is $63,504, but the company did not disclose what types of positions could be created.

It's likely the city will approve the incentives request as it creates more jobs in the region's $50 billion travel and tourism industry, and also helps maintain the company's headquarters in Central Florida.
