'Carol' producers to bring another Hollywood film to Cincinnati

The same producers that brought "Carol" to Cincinnati last spring will film another major motion picture in the Queen City this year.

"The Blunderer," starring Jessica Biel and Patrick Wilson and directed by Andy Goddard, will be entirely shot in Cincinnati starting on Nov. 17, according to the Greater Cincinnati Film Commission.

"We had a great experience in Cincinnati on our film 'Carol,'" said Christine Vachon of Killer Films. "The Film Commission, the rebate, locations, infrastructure and welcoming people of Cincinnati – brought us back a second time within one year."

"The Blunderer" is an adaptation of a Patricia Highsmith novel and is co-developed and co-financed by Sierra Affinity. Filming is scheduled to end on Dec. 21.

The film commission reports that productions have resulted in $26 million dollars in direct impact on the Cincinnati economy so far this year.
