In a Comic-Con-like event at the El Capitan in Hollywood Tuesday morning, Marvel unveiled Phase 3 of its Cinematic Universe.

At the star-studded presentation, studio president Kevin Feige announced to an audience of 600 fans and press the next new addition to the superheroic cast, and it wasn't Benedict Cumberbatch. Though the fan favorite who's already played Sherlock, Smaug and Khan is "in talks" to play Doctor Strange, it was Chadwick Boseman who took the stage with Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans. Boseman, who's portrayed Jackie Robinson and James Brown, will appear as Black Panther in the next "Captain America" movie in 2016 and then get his own movie a year later.

"I'm blessed to be a part of this Marvel Universe, and to work with you both, and I look forward to making magic together," Boseman said to his co-stars.

"Captain America 3," by the way, is subtitled "Civil War." The official title was also among Tuesday's reveals.

Not to be outdone by DC, which is giving Wonder Woman her own movie, Marvel's first standalone superheroine wil hit screens in 2018. But it's not Black Widow who's getting her own flick. Though Scarlett Johansson's role seems the obvious one, it's "Captain Marvel" who's going solo.

After "Age of Ultron" next May, the Avengers next face off with Thanos in "Infinity War," a two-part epic slated for May 2018 and May 2019. In the meantime, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange and Thor are all getting their own movies, along with a "Guardians of the Galaxy" sequel and a new "Inhumans" movie based on Jack Kirby and Stan Lee's a race of superhumans.

So between now and May 2019, there'll be 11 Marvel movies, with three coming to theaters in 2017 and 2018. Here's the full lineup:
