Why can't I see where my video is embedded?

Where do I see Stats for my Creator Services videos?

For a quick glance at your Vimeo On Demand (VOD) and Tip Jar Stats, head to vimeo.com/stats and scroll down below your Weekly Overview.

If you use both VOD and Tip Jar, you'll see an "On Demand Stats at a glance" section, as well as a "Tip Jar Stats at a glance" section. If you only use one of these services, you will only see that section, because DUH! :)

Do my own interactions with my videos count in my Stats?

Nope. Stats tell you about the way that other people interact with your videos.

When you're logged in to your account, your loads, plays, and downloads do not count toward your Stats.

What are "Unknown" embed stats?

When we record a load or play on your video from a website that fails to give us its full referer URL, we count it toward your total embed stats under "Unknown."

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do to recover additional data from those visits. It simply isn't available to us!

If you've set up domain-level privacy, we can assure you that any stats listed as "Unknown" are only coming from the domains you've chosen to allow.

Ultimately, when it comes to displaying stats for your videos, we give you as much information as possible. If we didn’t include "Unknown" stats; otherwise, you wouldn’t know how many people visited your video.

Which Stats does Vimeo record for views of my video within third-party players?

For PRO members using third-party players, we will still be able to record Loads and Plays of the embedded videos. However, we are unable to determine Finishes of videos played from third-party players. Finishes will not be recorded unless you choose to use Vimeo’s player.
