Choreographer Vincent Paterson created defining moves for stars like Michael Jackson and Madonna, yet has remained off the public radar - by choice. The San Francisco Dance Film Festival will screen The Man Behind the Throne, an engaging documentary by Swedish director Kersti Grunditz that incorporates fascinating rehearsal footage from Paterson's private collection. The screening also includes STAND, a short doc about Krump in South Central LA. Mr. Paterson, dancers and directors will be in attendance at this screening, and we've got two pairs of tickets to give away!Â
To be in with a chance of winning, just send an email to giveaway@kqed.org with the subject "Dance film" that contains your full name.
From all entries we'll randomly select two winners to receive a pair of tickets (worth $15 each.) Deadline to enter is Friday, October 31 at 9am. Winners will be notified by e-mail on Friday, and tickets will be held at Will Call. You must be a California resident and 18 years or older to participate. Employees of KQED are not eligible to enter.
