Julana Marie Hefner, 74, of Denton, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at her residence. She was born November 19, 1939, in Larned, KS, to Bazil Leroy Jonson and Ruth Marie Snyder Jonson. She attended Southwestern College in Kansas and SMU. She was the head secretary for the Selwyn School for twenty-five years until her retirement in 2006.
Graveside services will be at Roselawn Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014.
She is survived by a son, Paul Hefner of Denton, step-daughter, Sherri Shaffer of New Mexico, a sister, Christina Jonson of Wichita KS and 2 grandchildren.
