Railroad Commission to Host Open House in San Antonio

AUSTIN ––The Railroad Commission of Texas invites members of the public interested in learning more about the energy industry to an Open House at the District Office in San Antonio. Chairman Elizabeth Ames Jones and agency staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on local resources available through the District Office.

The open house will highlight oil and gas exploration and production activity in the Eagle Ford Shale, as well as increase awareness of resources available through the Commission. The event is intended to educate the public and industry about the Commission’s role and responsibilities. It will also provide an opportunity for the Commission to learn about the needs of the community.
