ABC's "Bachelorette" Desiree Hartsock and her Seattle mortgage banker fiancé, Chris Siegfried are getting married in mid January.

The couple, who live together in Seattle and stole the hearts of millions of TV viewers when she chose him as part of the reality television show "The Bachelorette," will not release the date yet.

"We want to keep it between family and friends as long as possible," Siegfried said Tuesday morning. The wedding will include150 family and friends, he said. The wedding invitations will go out soon. The Save the Date cards were mailed some time ago, he said.

Hartsock just returned yesterday from a whirlwind bachelorette party trip to Las Vegas where she and her bridesmaids and a few other friends went to a Britney Spears concert and hung out together. Seattle's Molly Mesnick who was on The Bachelor, was part of the group.

Hartsock, a wedding designer who has paired with Maggie Sottero Designs, a prominent wedding fashion manufacturer, has her own dress designed and hidden.

"It's all designed and ready to go," said Siegfried. "It's somewhere at our place and it's hiding. Hidden."

Siegfried said Hartsock will be wearing two dresses that night, the wedding gown and an evening dress.

"A mock version of the those will be available to the public (through Maggie Sottero Designs) after we get married," he said.

Siegfried will be wearing a dark gray suit. The bridesmaids will be "in a berry color," he said.

Hartsock and Siegfried were in New York recently for a wedding fashion show, and some of Hartsock's designs were shown.

"It went every well. It was a really good showing for Desiree's bridal launch," said Siegfried, who said they went to several parties including one thrown for the wedding industry by Martha Stewart.
