Awards
Since 1971, NPR journalists and programming have won hundreds of awards for investigative reports, outstanding features and series, digital innovations and bodies of coverage. Among the highest honors: 31 Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Awards, 59 George Foster Peabody Awards and 20 awards from the Overseas Press Club of America.
The trophy case also includes Gracie (American Women in Radio & Television), Silver Gavel (American Bar Association), Edward R. Murrow (Radio Television Digital News Association), Salute to Excellence (National Association of Black Journalists) and Sigma Delta Chi (Society of Professional Journalists) awards.
Among NPR's digital honors are four Online Journalism Awards from the Online News Association, 23 Webby Awards and 70 Eyes of History Awards from the White House News Photographers Association.
