Residents in and near Pavilion, Wyoming have been without safe water for YEARS. It’s time to end this debate and admit what those of us to live in the gas patch know: Hydraulic fracturing to extract shale oil and gas contaminates water.

EPA Says Wyoming Fracking Results Are Consistent

…The Environmental Protection Agency said new government tests of groundwater near Pavillion, Wyo., have yielded results similar to data it released last year, when it suggested chemicals in the water were linked to hydraulic fracturing.[...]The new findings were released Wednesday by the U.S. Geological Survey, which tested water from one of two monitoring wells the EPA drilled after Pavillion residents started to voice concern years ago about the smell and taste of their water. The agency dug the two wells, both hundreds of feet deep, to test the area for signs of contamination.
EnCana denies everything. Doug Hock, EnCana spokesman who was a presenter at the PSYOPS conference said the EPA is a bunch of meanies and blah, blah, blah…

At this point, I think the State of Wyoming AND the well operators, both past and present (however many of them that may be)– in addition to any local governing boards that have signed off– need to be sued for human and civil rights violations!
Pavillion residents have become the ultimate sacrifice zone. How much longer must they suffer in order for greedy multi-national corporations to profit? Encana said, “wait til the USGS results, they’ll prove us innocent”. Now that those results are in, they are STILL crying foul– when the proof is OVERWHELMING! Enough is enough already!
I say it’s time for a protest in Pavillion, WY– let’s draw attention to this never-ending BS for John, Louis, and everyone who has been SO adversely impacted for SO long!!
