You might recall a smoking ordinance from a year ago that stopped short of a comprehensive ban - bars were excluded. We are revisiting this policy in December. As I argued back then, we should have an ordinance that protects the health of all employees in our city and one that doesn't allow bars to subject their employees to second hand smoke.

What do you think? Is it time for a comprehensive smoking ban for all bars and restaurants in Denton?
